We produced a first-of-its-kind live sound event at the iconic Octagon Centre in Sheffield. The live performance fully immersed guests in the world of 3D sound. The inspiration behind the event was to explore the constantly-evolving relationship between humans and technology, in a new and evolutionary way.

The new concept turned the iconic venue’s centre stage into a 360-degree performance space, whereby guests were encouraged to walk around the space to experience the sound from all perspectives of the venue. The audience was also encouraged to wear eye masks, to fine-tune the senses for a very special live performance of the soundscape “Empath Machine”.

Featured guest stars included Steve Davis, Kavus Torabi and Michael J York (The Utopia Strong) and Richard Norris (The Grid), Cherub Sanson, Tim Wheater, John Wesley Barker, and students from the University of Sheffield playing strings.
